Over the last month, I've became very interested in early YouTube. And recreations of it. That's part of why I'm on KamTape and Bitview. (Two sites that archive how old YouTube looks.)
So, today I created a project called "Y05uTube".
If you didn't know, YouTube was originally was created as a dating site, on February 14th, 2005. However, the site was only first archived on the Web Archive on April 28, 2005. That's 5 days after Me at the zoo, the first video on YouTube was uploaded.
Y05uTube is an "archive" of mockups (I can't stress enough that these are mockups) of how YouTube looked, or would've looked, in late 2004-early 2005. All of this is what I think it would look like.
